Senior Analyst Future of Work & AI Strategy
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Analyst – Future of Work & AI Strategy are to:
We are seeking a strategic, curious, and digitally fluent Senior Analyst. This high-impact role sits at the intersection of AI innovation, workforce transformation, and human-machine collaboration — supporting the evolution of how work is done and how global teams collaborate.
You will be part of a future forward team, working across teams —to help shape and implement the future of work strategy. You’ll also play a unique role in reverse mentoring senior leaders, helping bridge the gap between digital natives and experienced executives navigating a fast-changing technology landscape.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in management consulting, enterprise transformation, data and AI or innovation strategy and passion or background on people topics who thrives in global, matrixed environments and is comfortable working in ambiguity and complexity.
Future of Work Strategy
+ Contribute to the design and execution of Future of Work roadmap and other people topics aligned with business and scientific priorities;
+ Analyze workforce trends, AI adoption pathways, and emerging technologies across life sciences to inform strategic direction;
+ Partner with HR, IT, Digital, and business units to drive workforce and workflow modernization.
AI Enablement & Human-Machine Collaboration
+ Identify high-value use cases for AI and automation in impacting work, workforce and workplace;
+ Translate technical AI concepts into accessible strategies that enhance productivity, compliance, and decision-making especially in the future of work and people & AI collaboration;
+ Co-develop change strategies that embed human-in-the-loop and responsible AI practices across teams.
Executive Engagement & Reverse Mentoring
+ Design and lead reverse mentoring initiatives for senior leaders unfamiliar with digital tools and AI mindsets;
+ Coach executives on digital fluency, agile ways of working, and collaboration in hybrid environments;
+ Facilitate workshops and create learning artifacts tailored to different levels of digital maturity.
Consulting & Global Collaboration
+ Serve as an internal consultant to regional and functional teams, helping shape and deliver work transformation projects;
+ Apply structured problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and design thinking to drive clarity in complex initiatives;
+ Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure local relevance and global alignment.
Project Management & Delivery
+ Lead or support cross-functional project teams using agile and human-centered design principles;
+ Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables in fast-moving and uncertain environments;
+ Track performance and outcomes using both qualitative and quantitative measures.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
+ Strong understanding of the life sciences industry (biotech, pharma, medtech), with awareness of compliance, data, and global regulatory nuances;
+ Familiarity with AI, automation, and digital collaboration tools — and how they can reshape work;
+ Proven ability to work across cultures and time zones, with strong stakeholder management skills;
+ Critical thinker comfortable with ambiguity and capable of structuring complex problems into actionable insights;
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 5–7+ years of experience in management consulting, internal strategy, or innovation/transformation roles. Preference for experience in Human Resource and/or passion for people topics;
+ Experience leading or supporting digital enablement or workforce transformation programs;
+ Knowledge of tools such as Miro, Copilot, ChatGPT, Microsoft 365, or enterprise AI platforms;
+ Degree in business, organizational psychology, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $106,232 to $159,349. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
