Description
**Job Description:** The transmission mechanical engineering intern will be working on tasks in support of the staff mechanical design engineers. The goal will be to give them a solid introduction to the roles and responsibilites of a mechanical design engineer, and allow them to complete and report out on their own project during the course of their internship.
Essential Functions:
+ Transmission engineering tasks in the support of the mechanical design engineers on the team
+ Blueprint checking
+ Test cell work
+ Data collection
+ Transmission failure analysis
+ Minor design work
+ Design analysis
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Enrolled in an accredited BSME program with a Jr. or Sr. status and a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills.
+ Microsoft Office applications.

+ GD&T
+ Minitab
