Driver is responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty sweeper truck to perform assigned duties on cleaning private streets, parking lots, and/or other locations. This is a seasonal job April-November. Pay based on experience.

    Experience and Skills:

    + Operates sweeping vehicle that cleans streets and lots of trash, leaves and other.

    + Ensures supplies and material handling equipment is secured prior to operating

    + sweeper.

    + Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.

    + Must have a class B driver’s license with good driving record

    + Ensures vehicle is operating correctly while on the route and notifies Route Supervisor/Dispatch/Garage of any concerns.

    + Understands and practices operating best practices.

    + Immediately reports any unsafe situations and/or service calls to Dispatch

    + before attempting service.

    + Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and safety

    + meetings as required by the Company.

    + Performs all duties as scheduled by Supervisor or Dispatch, assisting

    + other company drivers as directed.

    + Notifies Supervisor of any incidents/accidents/injures/property damage.

    + Provides a positive professional customer attitude when dealing with customers.
