Dining Room Supervisor, Horse & Plow

Opportunity

The Dining Floor Supervisor of the Horse & Plow Restaurant provides support to the restaurant management team through a variety of administrative and operational tasks and additional oversight of front of the house restaurant staff. Manage guest requests, complaints and questions and ensure that all aspects are communicated to the appropriate leadership.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Supportmanagement with daily administrative tasks including but not limited to purchasing, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, records control and filing.

+ Accurately process all new hire and employee change paperworkin a timely manner.

+ Reconcileall operational paperwork including but not limited to guest receipts and vendor invoices.

+ Work with staff and management team to ensure proper cost controls and inventory levels.

+ Greet guests and present them with the menu, informing them about the special items for theday andmenuchanges if any.

+ Suggest food and beverages to the guestutilizingappropriate methodsto upsell.

+ Take food and beverage orders from the guestand accuratelyenter intoPointofsale(POS) system.

+ Process payment transactions.

+ Clear and reset table settings and linens, as needed.

+ Communicatetothe guest and provide assistance withquestions.

+ Coordinate withrestaurantstaff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.

+ Assist withfood and beverageserviceper the course of order.

+ Observe guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.

+ Promptly respond toguestwith anyadditionalrequest.

+ Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customers table(must be 18 or over and licensed).

+ Understand andcommunicateproducts and services available at the resort.

+ Assistwith stocking andmaintainingthe restaurant par stock levels and side station.

+ Help other areas of the restaurant.

+ Trainingrestaurantfront of house staff.

+ Assistwithsupervisingthe dining room flow and ensuring proper distribution of assigned stations.

+ Resolveescalated guest concerns.

+ Create and execute special projects and assignments.

+ Assistin answering telephone calls from guests.

+ Perform the responsibilities of Servers, Bartenders, and Host/ess as needed.

+ Cross-trained to work in more than one outlet.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements

+ Safe Serve certified or ability to obtain certification.

+ 3+ years experience in restaurant preferred.

+ Supervisory experience in a restaurant setting required.

+ At least 1 year of bartending experience highly preferred

+ Must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pound

_The hourly range for this position is $16.25 - $20.30. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k._
