    Job Summary

    Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) for the Raytheon AIM-9X program. This individual contributor role is a great opportunity for someone looking to work directly with the supply base. This role requires knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process with practical knowledge of project and material management.

     

    In this role you will learn and further develop your knowledge of manufacturing, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. You will develop and execute a material program strategy/plan for a program or integrated product team.

     

    The successful candidate will influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one’s own job function as well as with parties external to the organization and company. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, budgeting and financial management, issue and conflict resolution.

    What You Will Do:

    + Overall supply chain ownership of key suppliers

    + Develop and execute strategies to perform and meet the Program’s needs

    + Lead robust and challenging negotiations to meet the Program objectives

    + Provide accurate forecasting and realization of sales and additional financial metrics

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant supply chain experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years relevant supply chain experience

    + Commitment to obtain MPM certification after experience in the role

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    + Active Secret Clearance

    + Experience with a combination of experience in Project, Program, Product, Finance or Supplier Management is required

    + Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel and Power point)

    + Leadership and the ability to work in an IPT environment.

    + Self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management, supplier management

    + Must be able to succeed in the high stress, fast paced environment of development

    Remote** **: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

    The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
