The applicants for this position will be accountable for operational excellence of portfolio and delivery of programs, projects, enhancements, Solution Definition Services, and SMW work in the ET domain.
• Maintain expertise in automotive domain, including Ford internal application and industry wide progress.
• Applicants should clearly communicate portfolios status, issues, risks, and plans to IT Management and associated Governance bodies.
• Manage program support activities, including the development of internal and external communications, establishing roadmaps and benchmarks, developing implementation, testing and training plans and ensuring the successful transition to support teams.
• Maintains deep technical knowledge of implementing IT solutions in the automotive industry.
• Maintains solid understanding of emerging technologies, platforms and solution strategies, with hands-on engagement in targeted areas.
• Support Interface with Business customers for portfolios deliverables including programs, projects, and improvements.
• Supports strategic plan for further workstream and process element ownership in region.
Software Engineer with strong knowledge with 10 years of solid experience with java, angular, spring boot microservices and GCP technologies. The ideal candidate should also have solid experience with build and deploy mechanism Jenkins, Github, and designing new webpage structures, microservices and API development. Engage with product managers and product owners to design / develop features and deliver user stories. Write code and unit tests, automation, and conduct code reviews. Participate in paired programming with other software engineers to quickly develop and deliver high quality functional code using test driving development and agile methodologies. Participate in daily stand-up.
+ Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify problems and note trends
+ Deep knowledge of Fords delivery methodology or equivalent. Proven ability to manage medium sized Agile teams
+ Hands on software development, craftsmanship experience and ability to train other software personnel in Java and cloud platform.
+ Experience with Micro services architecture and design principles
+ Knowledge on developing and maintaining the application in CaaS/PCF environments.
+ Ability to work with Ford IT Shared Services (middleware, database, storage, OS and network) that are required for successful delivery of development and integration environments.
+ Lead Infrastructure management and implementation of traceability & event logging to enable DevOps.
+ Ability to work independently, demonstrate thought leadership, forward thinking
+ Ability to coach and build collaborative, effective teams
+ Ability to develop strong working relationships across multiple levels amongst peer organizations, product teams and business partners
+ Ability to setup complete infrastructure ecosystem for project development and implementation.

+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
+ 10+ years of software development experience (Design, Development, Implementation and support)
+ 8 years of solid experience with java, angular, spring boot, microservices and API technologies
+ Experience of using GitHub for continuous integration and building CI/CD pipelines with Tekton
+ Experience in AI/ML technologies
+ Knowledge in automotive industry
+ Development experience in Java, Web and Client Server applications
+ Experience working on an Agile team
+ Experience with Test Automation
+ Experience interfacing applications (real-time and batch)
+ Passionate about learning and adopting new technologies and applying them in software solutions designed to move our business forward through technology
