At Teledyne FLIR Unmanned Integrated Solutions, we deliver advanced mobile and fixed surveillance systems that help federal, state, and local agencies protect what matters most. As a Field Service/Support Technician, you’ll be the face of our technology—installing, maintaining, and supporting mission-critical systems across the U.S. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, traveling, and working directly with customers. You’ll be trained by experienced technicians and quickly grow into an independent, trusted technical resource.
What you'll do
+ Install, maintain, and upgrade advanced surveillance systems
+ Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, software, and hardware issues
+ Travel to customer sites across the U.S. (up to 35%)
+ Provide phone and onsite technical support
+ Troubleshoot wiring and cabling using diagnostic tools
+ Collaborate with a small technical team to resolve issues
+ Document service visits and technical findings
+ Build strong relationships with customers and represent Teledyne professionally
+ Operate company and customer vehicles safely
+ Prepare tools and equipment for field assignments
What you need
+ **Required:** Experience in field service, automotive tech, avionics tech, electronics, and/or IT support
+ **Required:** Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and software systems
+ **Required:** Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, stand for long periods, and climb onto platforms
+ **Required:** Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
+ **Advantage:** Radar repair experience or familiarity with surveillance hardware
+ **Advantage:** Knowledge of diagnostic tools, ports, connectors, and cabling
+ **Advantage:** SAP familiarity (training available)
+ **Advantage:** Spanish or Arabic language skills
