    We are currently seeking a Solution Architect to join our team in Warren, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

     

    This role we require strong international insurance someone who has worked with US based insurance companies doing business abroad, cross borders, preferably Canada.

     

    Solution Architect will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing robust solutions aligned with our business needs. This individual must possess deep technical knowledge and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance architecture. In-depth knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain, including underwriting, policy administration, claims processing, and billing.

     

    Solution Architect identified this role will be mainly responsible to drive the expansion of the current application/infra portfolio in to other countries for the business. Is a self-starter and understands the data policies, compliances and regulations of new business entity.

    Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)

    + Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to insurance/reinsurance workflows such as underwriting, claims processing, policy administration, and risk modeling.

    + Guide teams in best practices for software architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

    + Research and recommend emerging technologies that align with business needs.

    + Mentor technical teams and review their deliverables for compliance with architectural standards.

    + Design integration workflows using Web Methods and other integration tools.

    + Define architecture blueprints and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory frameworks.

    + Leverage microservices and event-driven architecture to support modular and extensible system design.

    + Integrate with third-party platforms such as policy administration systems, reinsurer portals, and data feeds.

    + Architect cloud-native applications using Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure SQL, and Azure DevOps.

    + Define CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing strategies to ensure high availability and resilience.

    + Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanism

    Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

    + 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with at least 5 years in a solution architect role.

    + Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, JS/ Angular .

    + Strong Experience in Azure cloud services and cloud-native design patterns.

    + Knowledge and hands on experience in designing AI based solutions

    + Experience in the P&C insurance or reinsurance domain is required.

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

    Nice to Have; (But not a must)

    + **BI Tools** : Experience with reporting and business intelligence (BI) tools like Tableau or Power BI.

    + **Machine Learning (ML)** : Understanding of NLP and other machine learning techniques.

    + **DBT** : Experience with Data Build Tool (DBT)
