Job Summary and Qualifications

What You Will Do In This Role:

The PACS (Facility) Liaison (Radiology Based) is responsible as the Facility based support to maintain operational administration of all PACS workflow, Power scribe dictation systems, and workstations for the Radiologists and staff. This includes but is not limited to the following functions and activities: Strong analytical, problem solving, creative thinking, and customer service. This position is a key troubleshooter to maintain continuity of Image capture and transmission, as well as Radiology Reports. Requires the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and the ability to switch between tasks quickly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Represents NC as a primary resource for PACS and dictation software applications. Position entails expert- level software administration, maintaining connectivity and transmission of all Imaging equipment across multiple locations. Assists and coordinates activities of staff associated with PACS maintenance and report production. Supports all physician customers, Power share software, etc., to ensure images and reports are promptly available to ordering physicians. Participates in management goals and meets behavioral standards expectations.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

* Minimum Education: Associate’s degree in IT or equivalent technical training or clinical Radiology based degree with IT studies in progress, or both

*Minimum Experience: At least 3years experience with appropriate network support, some clinical or hospital based experience preferred. Radiology experience preferred but not required, software support, and applications, with some experience in providing training to users at various user levels.

*Customer service experience via person to person or phone support required.

*Required Certification: PACS Administration Certification preferred but not required.

*Required Licensure: None
