    About the role

     

    We’re seeking a dependable **Multi-Skilled Technician** to support the maintenance and operation of building systems, with a strong focus on electrical and HVAC components. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, routine inspections, and contributing to energy efficiency across commercial and industrial facilities. If you’re organized, mechanically inclined, and eager to grow under mentorship, this could be a great fit.

    What you’ll do

    + Conduct routine maintenance inspections and diagnose potential issues with electrical systems and HVAC equipment.

    + Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.

    + Aid with the setup, adjustment, and resolution of building systems, with a focus on electrical and HVAC elements.

    + Review work orders, estimate time and materials needed, and manage tasks efficiently using available systems.

    + Aid energy conservation efforts by guaranteeing the effective functioning of HVAC and electrical systems.

    + Review new or already in place installations to ensure they adhere to building codes and safety laws, specifically in electrical and mechanical systems, and report any violations.

    + Apply established procedures to solve routine problems under close supervision and mentorship.

    What you’ll need

    + High School Diploma, GED, or certification from a trade school along with 1–2 years of practical involvement in electrical and HVAC systems. Educational background and hands-on experience will be weighed as an alternative to a diploma.

    + Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry loads of 50 lbs. or more.

    + Ability to follow standard work routines and procedures.

    + Basic interpersonal skills for straightforward information exchange.

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

    + Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive approach.

    + Preferred: Certifications or training in HVAC systems, electrical maintenance, or related technical fields.
