Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Embedded System** **Radio Frequency (RF) Intern** to join our team!
Ready to advance your education and have the opportunity to learn/work with embedded systems and RF/microwave technology with experts in the field? Parsons is now accepting internship applications in this field.

We need our interns to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environments that have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills. In this role you will be under close supervision of a degreed professional, and complete routine support assignments. Your assignments are designed to develop a working knowledge of practices and procedures related to embedded systems and RF technology. This is a developmental position for college interns who are pursuing an Engineering degree.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Support degreed professionals
+ Programming, debugging, and/or analyzing field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) and RF system on a chip (SoC)
+ Working with RF transceivers and microwave circuits
+ Integrating embedded systems to run in real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) environments
+ Developing custom test interfaces and systems
+ Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
+ Must be a U.S. citizen
+ Enrolled in Engineering at an accredited college or university and completed at least one year of study
+ Organized and self-motivated
+ Able to work in a team environment
+ Completed at least two years of an undergraduate curriculum and maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
+ Have a working knowledge of Electrical Engineering fundamentals
+ Familiarity with C++, Python, or Matlab
+ Experience FPGA programming languages, e.g. VHDL/Verilog, and software, e.g. Vivado

Salary Range: $21.88 - $38.27
