Job Description
The Dining Center Supervisor serves as both an operational lead and active team member responsible for managing dining account services, logistics, and customer support. This position combines direct service responsibilities with administrative oversight, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and consistency in all account-related processes.
Job Responsibilities
+ Operational Duties: Perform all core service functions alongside staff, including processing dining plan changes, billing adjustments, refunds, and other account transactions.
+ Decision-Making & Oversight: Serve as the final point of approval for complex account actions or exceptions. Ensure adherence to institutional policies/contracts and consistency in how procedures are applied.
+ Customer Service & Issue Resolution: Act as the primary contact for escalated or sensitive customer concerns. Provide calm, empathetic, and professional assistance to students, parents, and campus partners.
+ Interdepartmental Coordination: Communicate regularly with external departments such as Housing, Student Accounts, and the Business Office to resolve issues, clarify procedures, and streamline workflows.
+ Data Management & Reporting: Utilize advanced Excel and data analysis skills to audit accounts, monitor accuracy, and identify process improvements. Maintain accurate and timely records.
+ Team Leadership & Support: Offer guidance and clarification to staff regarding procedures, systems, and best practices. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that prioritizes service excellence.

Qualifications
+ Two or more years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or account management (preferably in a campus or dining services environment).
+ Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data auditing).
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive or escalated customer concerns professionally.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Familiarity withFamily Educational Rights and Privacy Act or other confidentiality standards preferred.
+ Experience collaborating across departments or with diverse stakeholders in a service-driven setting.
+ Leadership or team coordination experience is a plus.
