    This position is responsible for coordinating and conducting employee educational classes and supporting organizational Epic and customer service training needs, including EPIC support and maintenance, implementations, and project coordination. Working with other team members, this position will promote the organizational needs of the Regional Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG). In addition, this position will collaboratively design, develop, and implement new training and educational materials related to all aspects of these information systems.

    _Work Hours/Shift:_

    + Full time 40hrs Mon-Fri

    **_You Will Be Responsible For_** :

    + **Exceptional Patient Care** : Maintains the confidentiality of information acquired pertaining to patient, physicians, employees, and visitors to THMG

    + **Excellent Communicator** : Provides leadership and guidance to a team of 1-2 Referral Training Specialists.

    + **Excellent Educator:** Conducts general or specialized training sessions for THMG employees on Epic referrals systems/processes and high-quality customer service for patient-facing workflows in referrals systems/processes

    + **Technical Familiarity:** Functions as a clinical liaison for medical related questions and issues to the Information Technology department. Leads and coordinates support and maintenance of the system clinical functions, including but not limited to Epic functions relating to referrals

    + **Active Teamwork** : Provides project management coordination, assisting on projects from design phase through implementation and training.

    **_Requirements_** :

    + Minimum of Associates degree in health or business administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    + Five (5) years working in a healthcare delivery organization, with knowledge of patient care practices. Minimum of two (2) years experience in training is required.

    + Strongly prefer solid understanding of Epic with the ability to maintain current knowledge of Epic through training, utilization of resources or other relevant means.

    + Medical Assistant experience or other clinical experience is preferred.

    + Must have a demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate a technical training session; possesses solid communication skills to effectively respond to questions from a group of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
