The Patient Care Technician performs direct patient care assistance, as well as clerical and administrative duties in support of patient care providers; i.e. medical staff, patients, their significant others, blended and extended family members, and outside agencies.
Responsibilities
+ Creates a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at the center of care
+ Provides nursing care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism
