    Our client seeking a System Administrator to join their team. As a System Administrator, you will be part of the Systems and Engineering department supporting the IT infrastructure and server systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** System Administrator

    **Location:** Madison, WI - Must be a current Wisconsin resident. No relocation allowed. This position is 100% remote within the state of Wisconsin

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Manage and support Windows and Linux servers within a complex environment of over 300 servers.

    + Implement and maintain security measures and disaster recovery protocols to protect data and applications.

    + Assist users by responding to support tickets related to Windows servers and applications.

    + Participate in server migration projects, consolidating systems into new data centers.

    + Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure smooth operations and system performance.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Proficiency in using VMware to manage Windows and Linux Servers.

    + Experience building, configuring, and managing servers in a large-scale environment.

    + Knowledge of security and disaster recovery practices for server management.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

    + Current Wisconsin residency; remote work within the state is required.
