Our client, a leader in the facilities management and building operations industry, is seeking an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join their team. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Department, you will support operations across multiple buildings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety, which will align successfully with the organization’s goals.

**Job Title:** HVAC/Refrigeration Technician

**Location:** Andover, MA

**Pay Range:** $45–$48/hour

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

What’s the Job?

+ Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including chillers, cooling towers, VAV systems, and heat exchangers.

+ Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pumps, motors, compressors, piping, valves, and electrical controls.

+ Install HVAC units and rebuild mechanical components as needed.

+ Ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental policies, including hazardous materials handling.

What’s Needed?

+ Massachusetts Refrigeration License (Required)

+ Minimum 3 years of experience with HVAC and refrigeration mechanical systems

+ High school diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred

+ Proficiency with BAS, CMMS, and Microsoft Office

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks
