    Salary: $60,405.80

     

    Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm, plus flexible weekends

     

    The Resource Recovery Center of Orange Countyis dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to those suffering from Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders. Substance Use Disorders are chronic illnesses, and treatment provided is based upon the presenting needs of the individual. Our goal is to help individuals and families begin the physical, emotional and spiritual healing process by utilizing compassionate, encouraging and evidence-based practices. We ultimately strive to guide individuals, and their families, towards a goal of living life to its full potential-free from addiction.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

    The Regional Outreach specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining partners in their respective territories for the purpose of procuring referrals/admission. Their outreach efforts include tabling at events, providing information seminars on services offered and how to make referrals for our levels of care. Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure communications with our partners in the community are maintained.

    TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Develop and nurture relationships within their assigned regions to promote our service.

    + Assist refe rents make referrals to our treatment programs.

    + Assist with maintaining communication with our treatment partners in the community and keeping them abreast of the progress/regressions of their referrals.

    + Promote and coordinate marketing initiatives; internal and external communications; print, digital and video media and special event promotions.

    + Work closely with Sr . Director of Nu rsing & Admissions to create and execute projects, create marketing publications, coordinate events, and maintain procedures as defined by organizational policies.

    + Attend/Support community awareness events as needed to manage public relations and communications aspects of events, including photography, presentations, etc. Coordinate all materials needed for distribution at such events.

    + Ability to effectively engage with population and capture referents

    + Submits and completes all Mandatory Training Modules in a timely manner

    + Support management in planning and public relation strategies to ensure alignment with organizational objective

    + Other duties and responsibilities related to the job as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Bachelor’s degree in marketing, behavioral science, communications or related field

    + Minimum of 3 years of related experience

    + Knowledge of current marketing trends and multimedia platforms

    + QHP preferred

    + Must be a motivated self-starter, able to work independently and with minimal supervision, have excellent time management skills and be able to multi-task to simultaneously meet deadlines for a variety of projects.
