At Acelero Learning Delaware, we’re transforming early childhood education—and we’re looking for a passionate Resource Teacher to help ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive. In this role, you’ll provide instructional and classroom support, working closely with teachers, assistants, and leadership to create engaging and high-quality learning environments.

What You’ll Do

As a Resource Teacher, you will:

+ Create engaging, developmentally and culturally responsive learning experiences that support all areas of child development.

+ Implement lesson plans and individualized strategies, including IEP goals, while maintaining a safe and consistent classroom environment.

+ Observe, assess, and document children’s progress to individualize instruction and share outcomes with families.

+ Partner with families through conferences, home visits, and ongoing communication to strengthen the home-school connection.

+ Provide coaching, modeling, and support to teaching teams to strengthen instructional practices and classroom quality.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who is:

+ Creates partnerships with families to establish positive interaction patterns.

+ Passionate about early childhood education.

+ Skilled at building relationships with both children and adults.

+ Reflective and growth-minded, eager to support teachers and enhance learning.

Minimum Qualifications

+ BA/BS in Early Childhood Education preferred OR AA/AS in Early Childhood Education OR BA/BS in related field with at least 12 credits in Early Childhood Education plus experience teaching preschool aged children.

+ Must have or obtain certification in CPR/First Aid, and Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) within six (6) months of hire.

+ Ability to lift 40 lbs. and assist children in/out of seats and vehicles.

+ Pass a physical exam and background check.

+ Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation required.
