    Our client, a leading organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Scientist to join their team. As a Scientist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Manufacturing Process Scientist

    **Location:** Middletown, VA

    **Pay Range:** $40

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Optimize current solution manufacturing processes to improve quality, reduce costs, and ensure regulatory compliance.

    + Oversee production of solutions, review documentation, and work with teams to streamline processes.

    + Review and update production documentation, collaborating with Quality and SMEs to align instructions with actions.

    + Apply process metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and characterize process enhancements.

    + Perform root-cause investigations on systems and components to resolve issues and enhance product quality and reliability.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.

    + Strong knowledge of formulation science, chemical processes, and process engineering principles.

    + Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience within an ISO 13485 environment.

    + Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM).

    + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

    + Knowledge and experience in Analytical Chemistry is a plus
