    Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a HVAC Technician to join their team. As a HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting building operations and ensuring optimal performance of critical systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** HVAC Technician

    **Location:** Andover, MA

    **Salary:** $42- $44 per hour

    **Schedule:** Second shift Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Accept and log all complaints, status, and follow-up calls in the CMMS database.

    + Take immediate action on all alarms, repairing or correcting alarm conditions when possible, or initiating follow-up procedures.

    + Monitor and adjust refrigeration, heat exchangers, HVAC systems, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, VAV systems, electrical, emergency backup systems, and hot water systems to ensure proper operation.

    + Perform preventive maintenance on all base building and critical system equipment, including installation, repairs, and inspections.

    + Install and repair HVAC units such as package units, mini splits, actuators, VAVs, water heaters, motors, and heating units, along with associated piping, valves, and controls.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + Must have a Massachusetts refrigeration license.

    + Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with HVAC and refrigeration mechanical systems.

    + Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written reports.

    + Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes.
