Join our team as a Civil Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in designing site layouts, site grading, and road design. Your expertise will extend to sanitary and storm sewer design, stormwater drainage control, water line design, and utility layout. You'll also handle soil erosion control design for projects based in Kentucky and neighboring states. Your participation in project development will involve maintaining schedules, plan development, production, and quantity take-off.
Responsibilities
+ Design site layouts, site grading, rural and urban roads, and various utility systems.
+ Develop sanitary and storm sewer systems, stormwater drainage, and quality designs.
+ Collaborate in project development by maintaining schedules and plan production.
+ Assist with quantity take-off for project planning and execution.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD.
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
+ Strong foundation in civil engineering principles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in Carlson Civil Design is an advantage.
+ One to two years of experience in site design is preferred.
+ Willingness to learn hydraulic and hydrology computer programs.
+ Interest in learning the planning process and collaborating with local Planning and Zoning offices.
Work Environment
The position is based in an office in Lexington. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Enjoy opportunities for professional growth and advancement, with mentoring and software training provided. Benefit from PTO and holidays in a supportive work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $33.65/hr.
