The Survey Project Manager will manage and lead all aspects of a localized survey department, overseeing staff, project execution, and client development. This role involves planning and implementing survey strategies, performing boundary analysis, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring quality control of deliverables. The position requires both technical leadership and business development, with a focus on expanding client relationships and integrating new technologies into field and office operations.
Responsibilities
+ Plan and implement survey strategies.
+ Perform boundary analysis.
+ Manage budgets and schedules for survey projects.
+ Ensure quality control of all deliverables.
+ Lead and mentor survey staff.
+ Expand and develop client relationships.
+ Integrate new technologies into field and office operations.
Essential Skills
+ 10+ years of field and office survey experience.
+ State survey license or the ability to obtain one.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson software.
+ Strong project management skills.
+ Strong client development and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with proposal preparation and contract negotiation.
+ Experience in mentoring staff on new technologies.
+ Experience in land development, ALTA surveys, and GPS.
+ Project coordination skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Willingness to travel for fieldwork and client meetings.
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Florida, primarily office-based with field travel as needed. The role involves collaboration with internal teams and external clients. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
