Position Summary
CVS Health continues to experience tremendous growth! The CVS Front Store Offer Strategy team incentivizes customers to consistently choose CVS as their go-to health and wellness retailer by delivering value and a highly relevant and rewarding personalized coupon experience. The team leverages strategic, personalized incentivization and tailored customer growth strategies to drive customer loyalty and inspire shopping.
We currently have an important opportunity for a **Manager of Strategic Analytics, FS Offer Strategy. The Manager of Strategic Analytics, FS Offer Strategy** will demonstrate intrinsic curiosity about the CVS coupon experience.
This role will leverage creative thinking to elevate large data sets and strategic insight to provide consumer experience and drive consumers to our stores for their everyday shopping needs.
This colleague needs to be experienced in identifying, understanding, and synthesizing retail business hypotheses (and structuring analysis to support those hypotheses by leveraging strong technical and quantitative skills (coding, ‘big data’ manipulation and advanced analytics) to prove or disprove the hypotheses in question.)
This colleague will interface with many teams, including Analytics & Behavioral Change, Retail Analytics, Loyalty Programs, Pricing & Promo, Consumer Insights and Retail Marketing. The **Manager of Strategic Analytics, Front Store Offer Strategy** will report to the **Sr. Manager of Front Store Offer Strategy.**
Your Typical Day Here Could Include:
+ The **reviewing** of key performance metrics and engagement trends via Power BI dashboards and proactively investigate anomalies.
+ **Aligning** with cross-functional teams (e.g., Loyalty, Merchandising, Pricing) on priorities and over-arching data needs.
+ **Writing and optimizing** SQL queries across Snowflake data sources to extract offer performance, customer behavior, and segmentation insights.
+ **Building and refining** Power BI dashboards to democratize access to strategic insights across the organization.
+ **Translating** complex analytics into clear, compelling visual narratives that support decision-making.
+ **Presenting** findings to stakeholders, highlighting actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
+ **Spearheading a customer business insight request:** Structuring and pressure-testing analytical insights to provide a comprehensive point of view on what’s happening and why. With a follow on of **socializing key findings** and/or opportunity areas and working cross-functionally to identify appropriate next steps.
+ **Identifying anomalous data that could impact the accuracy of analyses:** Critically examine source data and output to understand if results are due to erroneous data or legitimate trends.
Responsibilities also Include:
**Master of customer data** : Identifies customer insights, trends, changes in trends and outliers. Searches for root cause, proving and disproving key hypotheses. Understands all the analytical tools at our disposal – including external, non-traditional data sources – and utilizes them all to drive analysis. Partners with key stakeholders across cross-functional teams to develop and interpret data results.
Required Qualifications
+ 3 years’ experience structuring and leading analytical efforts to deliver relevant business insights and key growth opportunities
+ Experience analyzing large data sets: 3+ years of working knowledge and experience in Teradata and/or Snowflake preferred
+ Extensive skills and hands-on programming experience with SQL and relational databases.
+ Proficient with PowerPoint
+ Proven experience building and managing Power BI solutions in a business intelligence or analytics role.
+ Understanding of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling best practices.
+ The ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with a diverse range of stakeholders, both verbally and on paper, and with all levels of an organization
+ The ability to foster effective working relationships with and persuade diverse business leaders based on fact and reason with an emphasis on achieving tangible and meaningful long-term results
+ Ability to partner and collaborate effectively – with IT and other non-business partners
Preferred Qualifications
The successful candidate will be an out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in learning. This person will need to be a self-motivated and self-directed leader, taking business questions or problems and independently structuring analytical approaches to addressing. This person must be able to easily function in a fast paced, performance-driven environment. He/she/they must be accustomed to working on multiple tasks in parallel. This professional must demonstrate strong leadership skills, and the ability to gain credibility with team members and senior management.
The successful candidate will have the ability to identify and define business problems and issues and independently develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis. He/she/they will have a proven capability to conduct quantitative portfolio and growth analysis and a passion for Retail. This candidate will communicate effectively and succinctly, verbally and on paper, and with all levels of an organization. This candidate will have a proven track record of engaging, influencing and aligning teams.
Additionally:
+ Retail / CPG experience and / or experience with large customer data sets
+ Snowpark experience
+ Outstanding strategic thinking and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to frame and evaluate business questions and hypotheses and synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable insights.
+ A passion for a data driven understanding of customer behavior and uncovering opportunities for action. Knowledge of analytical approaches as well as clear demonstrated customer analytics and growth opportunity identification is critical.
+ Proven ability to work across multiple simultaneous projects and deliver impactful and mistake-free work product.
+ Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to set and frame a vision for executive alignment. Keen ability to distill complex ideas into simpler framework and illustrations.
+ Be comfortable on his/her feet making presentations
+ Communicate in an open and honest way that quickly builds trust and respect
+ Be highly motivated and possess vision, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit
Education
Bachelor's degree required (prefer technical field of study – Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
