    As an eHIL Test Engineer, you will be responsible for translating requirement-derived test cases into Embedded Hardware in the Loop (eHIL) tests. You will collaborate with firmware and electrical engineers to define and clarify eHIL test implementation details. This role requires authoring and documenting clean, performant Python code, and validating the performance and robustness of eHIL test suites.

    Responsibilities

    + Translate requirement-derived test cases into eHIL tests.

    + Collaborate with firmware and electrical engineers to define and clarify eHIL test implementation details.

    + Author and document clean, performant Python code.

    + Validate performance and robustness of eHIL test suites.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

    + 5+ years of experience in Python.

    + 5+ years of experience in hardware and/or firmware related testing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in electrical hardware V&V, including manufacturing test, electrical validation, and reliability testing.

    + Experience in firmware V&V, including Hardware in the Loop testing.

    + Experience with cloud-based CI (e.g., Buildkite) integration.

    + Experience with hardware test asset management systems, including automated bench reservations, deployments, and health checks.

    Work Environment

    The work environment involves close collaboration with firmware and electrical engineers, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies for eHIL testing. The role may involve working with cloud-based continuous integration systems and hardware test asset management. The position requires a focus on innovation and performance, ensuring robust and efficient test solutions.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Mountain View, California.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
