    Job Title: Construction AdministratorJob Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Construction Administrator with a strong understanding of Architecture and Construction. This role involves handling construction documentation, conducting site visits to gather data, and interfacing with internal team members, contractors, sub-contractors, and others involved in the project. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to read and interpret construction documents and understand how all components come together. The projects will primarily include Healthcare, Higher Education, K-12, and data center projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Present technical design solutions to client representatives and contractors.

    + Quickly and accurately resolve on-site construction issues.

    + Maintain and develop relationships with past, current, and new clients.

    + Demonstrate understanding of construction practices and methodologies.

    + Visit construction sites to gather information, answer contractor questions, and prepare punch lists.

    + Lead the on-site Construction Administration process for projects of all sizes while managing and collaborating with multiple team members, contractors, and client representatives to ensure an integrated and coordinated design.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field

    + 8-10 years of construction admin experience (preferably at an A+E firm)

    + Proficiency with codes, regulations, and specifications

    + Knowledge of Revit or Bluebeam is a plus

    + Experience with Healthcare, K-12, and Higher Education projects is advantageous

    + Architectural registration, LEED AP, LEED BD+C

    + AIA knowledge

    Work Environment

    Enjoy a hybrid work schedule with flexibility based on experience level. Typically, the role requires being in the office twice a week and working from 8 AM to 5 PM. The hours offer some flexibility.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, Michigan.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $48.07/hr.
