The Analytics Consulting Services Corporate Internship experience is an 11-week full-time opportunity that starts on May 27th, 2026, and concludes on August 7th, 2026. This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in the Northbrook, IL office location. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice.
The hourly rate is $25/hr with 40 hours/week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Additionally, our corporate interns have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a future role with CVS Health.
Sponsorship:
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
Relocation:
CVS Health follows a hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that need to move over 50 miles.
About this business area:
• A Healthcare Consultant Intern who joins the Analytic Consulting Services team provides CVS Health clients with insight to better understand their pharmaceutical data and fact-based business intelligence necessary to make informed decisions on their key health care strategies.
• The Healthcare Consultant Internship is targeted for undergraduate students and allows the individual to leverage client data to provide insight and strategic recommendations to our internal and external clients regarding pharmacy benefits. This position is part of the Analytical Consultant Services (ANCS) department which handles all client-facing analytics.
You will gain valuable work experience and participate in:
Interacting with individuals and teams that are both internal and external to the organization. The breadth of CVS Caremark services presents an opportunity to work with multiple functional areas including sales, clinical, account management, finance, underwriting, and product marketing.
Activities of a consultant typically include gaining better insight into a client’s business problem to be solved; formulating a data-driven approach to solve the problem; and finally, analyzing and drawing conclusions and presenting them to the client.
An individual who joins this team will develop and/or maintain expert knowledge of the rapidly changing healthcare marketplace, pharmacy benefits management industry, CVS Caremark data warehouses and CVS Caremark programs, services and sales goals.
Successful candidates will have experience using data analysis and business analytics to develop a deep understanding of a client’s business and their health care goals. As part of the team, they will acquire and maintain a deep understanding of CVS Caremark’s business, products, services, and support. Using this knowledge and insight, they will provide clients with fact-based and data-driven strategic guidance on CVS Caremark products and solutions that will help meet their goals.
A candidate on this team will perform a variety of client analyses in response to specific business questions. This person then communicates those findings, including methodology and outcomes back to key business leaders of our clients. The consultative nature of the position means there is potential for a high frequency of client facing activities and meetings. This may include on-site or teleconferenced presentations as an individual or team, and written documents for assigned clients and in support of other clients.

Preferred Qualifications:
+ Exhibits strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
+ Has proficiency with Microsoft Excel
+ Has experience with coding languages such as SQL/SAS/Python
+ Has demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include: active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects
+ Shows strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Has an interest in obtaining full-time position with CVS Health upon graduation
Education:
+ Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
+ Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2026 and July 2027
+ Have a major relevant to the position such as Data Analytics, Finance/Mathematics, Public Health, Statistics, Economics, or related data-driven majors
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$25.00 - $25.00
