    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Production Manager to lead our Aluminum Manufacturing Department and collaborate closely with design engineers and customers. This role is critical to ensuring that customer requirements are accurately translated into manufacturable system designs while maintaining high standards of quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

     

    The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement to a dynamic and growing organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with design engineers and customers to analyze system requirements and ensure alignment with production capabilities.

    + Recommend design methods and components to support manufacturability and system performance.

    + Approve project designs for compliance with internal manufacturing processes.

    + Assist in estimating preliminary design and material costs for customer quotations.

    + Ensure schematics and models are complete and accurate prior to release to the shop.

    + Manage the Aluminum Manufacturing Department to meet project timelines, quality standards, and cost targets.

    + Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely availability of required parts.

    + Partner with engineering, sales, and customers to ensure project outcomes meet expectations.

    + Support overflow programming needs including PLC code and HMI development/debugging/startup.

    Required Qualifications

    + Proven experience in production management, supervision, and process improvement.

    + Strong background in quality control and leadership.

    + Ability to apply continuous improvement and operational strategies.

    + Excellent customer relations and communication skills.

    + Logical problem-solving skills with the ability to collect data and draw valid conclusions.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and schematics.

    Preferred Skills

    + Experience with PLC programming and Human Machine Interfaces.

    + Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.

    + Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives.

    Work Environment

    + First shift schedule in a collaborative, hands-on manufacturing setting.

    The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
