    We’re looking for a Project Engineer with strong technical expertise and project leadership skills to drive capital projects within a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role that spans the full project lifecycle—from concept and design through implementation and validation.     What You’ll DoProject Leadership

    + Lead capital projects >$1MM from concept to completion.

    + Own project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.

    + Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and consultants.

    Technical Execution

    + Develop and review engineering documentation: URS, DFMEA, P&IDs, equipment layouts, scopes of work.

    + Conduct design reviews to ensure alignment with process, safety, and regulatory standards.

    + Apply engineering principles across all phases:

    + Planning & Design: Scope, budget, milestones, RFPs, vendor selection.

    + Execution & Implementation: FAT, SAT, commissioning, CQV.

    + Monitoring & Closure: Change control, asset handover, After Action Reviews.

    Compliance & Documentation

    + Ensure all engineering activities meet cGMP, safety, and quality standards.

    + Maintain organized project documentation and support change control processes.

    Financial & Operational Oversight

    + Manage project costs, cash flow, and execution schedules.

    + Support purchasing, receiving, and invoicing related to assigned projects.

    + Monitor progress, communicate updates, and implement corrective actions as needed.

    What You BringRequired Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or Engineering Management).

    + 6+ years of hands-on experience in a cGMP or regulated manufacturing environment.

    + Proven success in equipment design, process engineering, and facility systems.

    + Strong leadership and ownership of project outcomes.

    + Excellent communication skills—able to convey technical concepts clearly.

    + Flexibility to adjust work schedule to support project execution.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with AutoCAD, MS Project, and capital budget management.

    + PMP or equivalent project management certification.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $64.00/hr.

     

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
