Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer
Job Description
The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and dealers, coordinating sales initiatives, and developing tailored sales proposals and equipment designs. You will deliver training sessions on product features and technology and participate in research and development for new product lines.
Responsibilities
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and dealers.
+ Coordinate with affiliated companies to support intercompany sales initiatives.
+ Develop tailored sales proposals and equipment layout designs.
+ Deliver training sessions on product features and screening technology.
+ Conduct on-site visits to gather operational data and recommend equipment solutions.
+ Participate in research and development of new product lines.
+ Engage in cross-training with technical support teams for seamless support coverage.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in CAD design.
+ Background in mechanical, mining, or application engineering.
+ Experience in project management and technical sales engineering.
+ Mechanical design and new product development skills.
+ Strong customer service and technical support abilities.
+ At least 5 years of experience in the mining industry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in mining.
+ Understanding of mining regulations and safety standards.
+ Strong customer communication skills.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in Lexington, with travel required across the US and internationally to locations such as Canada and South Africa. Candidates may be flown in for on-site interviews if necessary.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $52.88/hr.
