We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee the renovation project for the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. The role involves managing construction activities on 2-3 floors, ensuring that all project aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
+ Manage subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks.
+ Communicate and provide updates to the Project Manager or end client.
+ Complete daily reports documenting project progress.
+ Assist general superintendents with ordering materials and supplies.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent.
+ Expertise in construction, specifically commercial and interior construction.
+ Experience in office/federal interior projects.
+ Proficiency in managing subcontractors and project scheduling.
+ OSHA 30 certification.
+ Knowledge of construction safety and blueprint reading.
+ Strong schedule management abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with mid to large scale projects.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Team-oriented approach.
+ Proficient in project organization and blueprint reading.
Work Environment
The position is onsite, working with a large construction team on one of the biggest interior projects in Washington, D.C. The company offers a growing environment with multiple projects lined up for construction after the current project. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alexandria, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
