    Maintenance Technician – Food Manufacturing

    **Location:** South Side San Antonio, Texas

    **Pay Range:** $25–$29/hr (potentially higher for strong food & beverage manufacturing experience)

    Shifts Available:

    + **1st Shift:** 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    + **3rd Shift:** 10:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Training on 1st shift for 1–2 weeks)

    + **Schedule:** 5–6 days/week, with potential for 10–12 hour shifts and overtime

    Position Overview

    We are seeking experienced **Maintenance Technicians** to join a growing food manufacturing facility. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

     

    + Performing **preventive maintenance** , **troubleshooting** , and **repairs** on a variety of food processing equipment.

    + Handling both **mechanical** and **electrical** repairs.

    + Assisting with equipment **breakdowns for cleaning** and **start-up procedures** .

    + Ensuring compliance with **GMP standards** in a refrigerated production environment.

     

    What We’re Looking For

    Must-Have Qualifications:

    + **2+ years** of maintenance experience in food manufacturing **or** **7+ years** in general manufacturing equipment maintenance.

    + Strong **electrical troubleshooting** skills (24V–480V), including control voltage and 3-phase systems.

    + Ability to walk through real-world troubleshooting examples, including tools used and repair steps.

    + Solid **mechanical knowledge** : pneumatics, motors, conveyors, pulleys, chains, sprockets, drives, bearings, gears, etc.

    + Basic understanding of **PLCs** .

    + Stable work history – we value reliability and commitment.

    Preferred Skills (Bonus):

    + Prior experience in **food & beverage equipment maintenance** .

    + **Welding and fabrication** skills.

    + Advanced **PLC troubleshooting** .

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
