Job Title: Scaffold Foreman
Job Description
The Scaffold Foreman position involves supervising scaffolding crews to ensure the safe erection and dismantling of structures. The role requires compliance with OSHA rules and involves managing daily team operations, conducting hazard assessments, and maintaining safety documentation. A strong understanding of various scaffolding types and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and working at heights, are essential.
Responsibilities
+ Supervise and direct scaffold crews to ensure safe and efficient erection and dismantling of scaffolding.
+ Ensure all work complies with OSHA scaffolding rules and conduct site-specific safety assessments.
+ Act as a mentor and coach to lead carpenters and helpers, assigning daily tasks to the crew.
+ Design scaffolding systems and order necessary materials to maintain workflow.
+ Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork, including inspection checklists, delivery/pickup tickets, and safety plans.
+ Work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting 40 pounds or more, bending, squatting, and crouching.
Essential Skills
+ A minimum of two years of experience as a Scaffold E&D Lead or an equivalent background.
+ Strong knowledge of scaffolding safety regulations and various scaffolding types.
+ Ability to lead, supervise, and train a crew.
+ Physical fitness to perform job requirements, including working at heights.
+ A valid driver's license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bilingual skills are a plus.
+ Experience with hand tools, power tools, carpentry, or hands-on experience is a plus.

Work Environment
The role involves working outside on construction sites and at the largest division's open yard facility, spanning up to 70,000 square feet. The facility includes a large two-story indoor area with break rooms, water coolers, and vending machines.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
