    Job Title: Mechanic

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and ammonia systems. This position involves working on afternoon or evening shifts and requires a commitment to maintaining a strong attendance record.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist the facilities manager with ensuring that all facilities are structurally sound, mechanically operational, electrically efficient, and safe.

    + Plan and schedule daily/weekly preventive maintenance activities in coordination with preventive maintenance worksheets.

    + Understand and troubleshoot the blow mold machine as part of a hybrid job role.

    + Ensure operation of machinery, PLCs, and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic, conveyor systems, and production machines.

    + Perform required preventive maintenance on PLCs, including lubrication, cleaning, and filter changes.

    + Follow safety, GMP, HACCP, and all other procedures and policies.

    + Provide communication to all support team members by following proper escalation procedures.

    + Perform operator duties on the Blow mold machine, including following GMPs, conducting start-up inspections, and maintaining cleanliness and safety during the shift.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent (education verification required)

    + Verifiable maintenance experience

    + 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience and maintenance

    + Strong analytical skills

    + Ability to troubleshoot GMP equipment

    + Proficiency with all hand tools to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frederick, Maryland.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
