Job Title: Production Worker - 1st Shift - Start ASAP

Job Description

Join a team dedicated to crafting custom windows and door walls for homes, serving the Michigan and Northern Ohio areas. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling windows and door walls, working across various departments such as Shipping & Receiving, Frames, Sashes, and Doorwall/Casements. This role offers opportunities for continuous learning and growth within the facility.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble windows or door walls, including measuring and cutting vinyl, glass, and other materials.

+ Repetitively lift and move materials weighing between 10-50+ lbs.

+ Punch holes and strip materials as required.

+ Utilize hand tools effectively and place flexy glass on frames.

+ Operate machinery, saws, or weld when transitioned to a direct hire position.

+ Perform repetitive movements such as grasping, reaching, pulling, pushing, and bending.

+ Stock and clean workspaces and general areas.

+ Complete other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.

+ Familiarity with hand tools and the ability to hold and use them effectively.

+ Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting quotas.

+ Capability to stand for the entire duration of the shift and perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, and squatting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to read a tape measure is preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
