    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves maintaining high-speed production lines and supporting both electrical and mechanical systems. You will work on either the first shift (Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM) or the second shift (Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM).

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain high-speed production lines, including rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, motors, drives, and conveyors.

    + Troubleshoot and edit PLCs, HMIs, and control networks using tools such as RS Logix and RS View.

    + Operate and maintain production line equipment such as fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, coders, and palletizers.

    + Ensure machines and tools are properly used, repaired, and maintained.

    + Read gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure proper machine operation.

    + Apply excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    + Adhere to MSDS, lock-out/tag-out, and OSHA requirements.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance experience.

    + Mechanical skills, including knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

    + Experience with preventive maintenance and repair.

    + Ability to support automated controls, including photoeyes, limit, pressure, temperature, and flow switches.

    + Experience calibrating instrumentation such as LEL gas monitors.

    + Skill in programming and testing high-level probes, VFDs, actuators, and valves.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with facility maintenance including boilers, water systems, compressed air, lighting, and exhaust fans.

    + Ability to read and understand equipment manuals for installation, setup, modification, and troubleshooting.

    + Experience in preparing processing equipment by making setup adjustments and assisting with changeovers.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hernando, Mississippi.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
