Description

Building Engineer

- Maintain, diagnose, and troubleshoot a variety of HVAC systems

- Repair and maintain fan coil units, building loops, pumps, heat exchangers, and forced air components (VAV, circuit setters, controls)

- Identifying maintenance tasks or risks

- Coordinating with HVAC service contractors with repairs and installations

- Document maintenance activities using CMMS

- Basic electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing, misc. maintenance activities when needed

7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday through Friday. Must be willing to respond to emergencies or work up to 16 hours in the event of emergencies or special projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Commercial or large facility HVAC maintenance experience required

- EPA (Type 1, Type 2, Universal) not required but strongly preferred. Candidate should have some formal training in HVAC maintenance.

- Prior facility maintenance experience in a school, hospital, or corporate campus strongly preferred. New graduates not likely to be considered.

- Must be willing to perform maintenance tasks not directly related to HVAC such as painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical.

- High level of professionalism and customer service

- Capable of working in a dynamic environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
