Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator in a reputable chemical manufacturing plant. We have multiple openings with various pay rates, depending on the department and shift. This role involves operating machinery in the filling rooms, where you'll handle containers ranging from a few ounces to 5 gallons.

Responsibilities

+ Operate machinery in the filling rooms of a chemical manufacturing plant.

+ Fill bottles ranging from a few ounces up to 5 gallons.

+ Perform tasks requiring mechanical aptitude, such as attaching or connecting hoses.

+ Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including long sleeves and a respirator mask when in the production area.

Essential Skills

+ At least 6 months of experience as a machine operator.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Mechanical aptitude.

+ Comfortable with wearing PPE and adhering to safety protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in production or general labor.

+ Proficiency in using a tape measure and adjusting machinery settings.

Work Environment

The work environment is within a large facility composed of five buildings, each over 100 years old. The site includes a security checkpoint and designated parking. The facility houses over 250 employees and has a maze-like interior with multiple buildings to navigate.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
