    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team at a leading veterinarian medical brand specializing in high-end braces, prosthetics, and more for pets, primarily dogs. Located in York, the facility focuses on crafting soft braces, harnesses, and headwear, with an emphasis on sewing operations. As the team grows, we're looking to add skilled sewers who will enjoy a diverse and engaging workload.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate sewing machines and handle various sewing tasks.

    + Work on a variety of products, ensuring quality and precision.

    + Utilize stitching techniques such as single needle, zig zag, overlock, and cover stitch.

    + Complete orders with attention to detail and consistency.

    + Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in sewing and operation of sewing machines.

    + Experience in industrial sewing and upholstery.

    + Ability to work efficiently in a production environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with various stitching techniques including single needle, zig zag, overlock, and cover stitch.

    + Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required.

    Work Environment

     

    Experience a laid-back, quiet work setting that blends the elements of an office and industrial environment. Each station is equipped with a sewing machine, fostering a focused and productive atmosphere. The schedule runs from 6:30 AM to 3 PM with flexibility in start times, although there is a firm stop at 3 PM. Note there is no opportunity for overtime.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
