• Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Hauppauge, NY)


    Description Experience:

    Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll experience, with a strong focus on union and multi-state payroll processing in the construction industry.

     

    Proficiency in Sage 300 or similar construction-specific payroll systems is required.

    Knowledge:

    Thorough understanding of union payroll processing, certified payroll reporting, and compliance with collective bargaining agreements.

     

    Familiarity with fringe benefit tracking, and prevailing wage compliance.

    Skills:

    Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

     

    Attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.

     

    Advanced proficiency in payroll software (Sage 300) and Excel; experience with additional construction-related software is a plus Requirements ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, Crystal Reports, 401k - RRSP Administration, About Time, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Benefit Functions
