    Job Title: CNC 5-Axis Mill Machinist

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a CNC 5-Axis Mill Machinist, where you will play a crucial role in machining and setting up on 5-axis mills. Your expertise will contribute to preventative maintenance tasks and minor equipment repairs across the machine shop, ensuring a seamless operation. You will also be responsible for restocking, inventory management, and supporting post-print operations such as vacuuming powder and cleaning parts. As you progress, you will develop a foundational knowledge of shop equipment and systems, operating basic hand tools and working with various manufacturing tools including lathes, mills, bandsaws, grinders, precision drills, and wire EDMs.

    Responsibilities

    + Machining and set-up on 5-Axis Mills.

    + Conduct preventative maintenance tasks and minor equipment repairs.

    + Manage restocking and inventory.

    + Operate basic hand tools and develop foundational knowledge of shop equipment.

    + Support post-print operations such as vacuuming powder, removing finished parts, and cleaning parts.

    + Work with manufacturing tools including lathes, mills, bandsaws, grinders, precision drills, and wire EDMs.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with CNC 5-Axis Mills and machining.

    + Proficiency in machine operating, including grinders, drill presses, and mills.

    + Troubleshooting capabilities.

    + Certification in trade school is a plus

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with forklift and crane operations.

    + Skills in inventory management, deburring, grinding, and sanding.

    + Familiarity with bandsaws and Mori Seiki machinery.

    + Good personality fit for a start-up environment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Segundo, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
