Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will provide critical support to attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys by preparing legal documents, correspondence, and other materials as needed.

• Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.

• Conduct legal research and gather information relevant to ongoing cases.

• Coordinate and oversee the e-filing of legal documents with courts and other entities.

• Maintain attorneys' schedules, including managing deadlines, appointments, and hearings.

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

• Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, evidence, and other trial-related materials.

• Transcribe legal dictation and prepare drafts for attorney review.

• Collaborate with attorneys to ensure the smooth progression of cases.

• Monitor and manage discovery processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines and requirements. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm setting.

• Proficiency in legal transcription and dictation is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation processes.

• Expertise in e-filing and familiarity with case management software.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Dependability and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
