    Job Title: Commercial Plumber

    Job Description

    We are actively seeking two Commercial Plumbers to work on new construction projects throughout the Bay Area. These positions involve work on private sector projects, and we are open to hiring commercial apprentices, experienced commercial plumbers, or journeyman level plumbers.

    Responsibilities

    + Install waste, drain, and vent systems.

    + Install water lines using various materials such as cast iron, plastic, and copper.

    + Work with and install various types of valves.

    + Perform soldering and brazing tasks.

    + Install insulation and perform strapping and testing of systems.

    + Depending on the project stage, work on underground, rough, or finish plumbing.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of experience as an Advanced Apprentice Plumber.

    + Experience in commercial new construction or service.

    + Proficiency in installing waste, drain, and vent systems, as well as water lines.

    + Ability to work with materials such as cast iron, plastic, and copper.

    + Skills in soldering and brazing.

    + Ability to follow a five-step process to complete work.

    + Must possess own plumbing and hand tools.

    Work Environment

     

    Based out of Hayward, our projects span five Bay Area counties, typically within 30-35 miles of Hayward. Current projects are located in Oakland, San Leandro, Concord, San Jose, and Palo Alto. Depending on the project phase, assignments last roughly 1-2 months. Work alongside 2-10 colleagues on site, reporting to the foreman. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, with flexibility required for start times between 5:00am and 7:00am. Employees provide their own transportation, with mileage reimbursement available if traveling to multiple sites.

    This is a Contract position based out of Hayward, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
