Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Job Description
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues in residential and commercial environments. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation systems. Install HVAC systems and components as needed. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes and regulations. Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, solutions, and maintenance recommendations. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Respond to emergency service calls and after-hours work as needed. Keep company vehicle and tools clean, organized, and in good working condition.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills
+ HVAC

+ 5+ years of experience in residential and commercial HVAC service and installation
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or technical training preferred.
+ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
+ EPA Section 608 Certification required.
+ Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigerants.
+ Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
+ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Work Environment
The work involves traveling to various residential and commercial sites. You will be provided a company vehicle and necessary tools which should be kept clean and organized. The role requires responding to emergency service calls and may involve after-hours work.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Ulm, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
