Job Description

In this role, you will tend mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind raw materials for the manufacturing of high-quality printing ink. As an Ink Maker/Ink Tech, you will be responsible for following batch instructions, weighing batches, changing and mixing inks, and understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials.

Responsibilities

+ Follow batch instructions to weigh batches, change, and mix inks.

+ Understand proper mixing procedures and raw materials.

+ Mix batches of ink and make necessary additions.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs

+ Good computer skills

+ Prior manufacturing experience

+ Basic math skills

+ Mechanical aptitude

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior chemical experience

+ In-plant, ink or pressroom experience

+ Color matching skills

+ Forklift experience

+ Chemical operator experience

Work Environment

This is a position based out of Batavia, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
