    Job Title: 2nd Shift - Finishing Operator

    Job Description

    Join our innovative Star Dental team as a Finishing Operator, where you'll be an essential part of producing high-quality dental handpieces. This role involves assembling and packaging products, as well as testing and inspecting components. You'll also polish, buff, and sand parts, ensuring they meet stringent quality standards. Parts can be as small as screws viewed under a magnifying glass.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate a variety of manufacturing machines such as CNC, grinders, and gun drills.

    + Follow procedures, work instructions, and job travelers to ensure the production of quality parts.

    + Record production time and necessary information into computer software.

    + Check parts, components, and finished products for cosmetic and functional defects.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in machine operating and grinding.

    + Attention to detail for inspecting small parts.

    + Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive activities for sustained periods.

    + Capability to see, feel, and hear surface and functional defects.

    + Experience in handling small parts and using an eye loupe.

    + Ability to operate equipment and lift up to 20 pounds.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
