    Job Description

    Join our team as a Cook, where you will play a vital role in assisting with banquet and conference food service. You will be responsible for preparing condiments and carts for upcoming orders, prepping food and meal items, and ensuring all food items are maintained at the correct temperatures.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in banquet and conference food service.

    + Prepare condiments and carts for upcoming orders.

    + Prep food and meal items.

    + Ensure all food items are at the correct temperatures.

    + Help with cleaning and maintaining the work area.

    + Support team members in front of house duties.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in food preparation and foodservice.

    + Strong cooking skills.

    + Effective cleaning skills.

    + Experience in hospitality and dishwashing.

    + Ability to assist in banquet and conference food service.

    + Competence in food handling.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Excellent presentation and customer service skills.

    + Strong communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently with attention to detail.

    + Positive and enthusiastic approach to assignments.

    + Cheerful and helpful manner when interacting with customers.

    + Physical ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 45 lbs.

    Work Environment

     

    Work the first shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM in a dynamic environment. There are no weekend or holiday shifts, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilmington, Delaware.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
