Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a general warehouse worker in a bustling auto parts distribution facility. This role involves operating in various sections of the warehouse and adapting to different tasks and departments throughout the day. You will be cross-trained to ensure flexibility and versatility in handling warehouse operations. The position also includes responsibilities in the E-Commerce section, where you'll use a pick list and an RF scan gun to gather specific items, package them for shipping, and document your work using computers.

Responsibilities

+ Operate in various sections of the warehouse and adapt to different tasks as needed.

+ Use a pick list and an RF scan gun to gather specific items for the E-Commerce section.

+ Package items for shipping and ensure proper documentation using computers.

+ Move efficiently throughout a large warehouse, involving a significant amount of walking.

+ Contribute to inventory management and general warehouse operations.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in warehouse operations, including picking and inventory management.

+ Proficiency in using a forklift.

+ Basic computer skills for documentation and E-Commerce operations.

+ Ability to learn quickly and be cross-trained in various tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.

+ Strong adaptability to new tasks and departments.

Work Environment

This role is based in an auto parts distribution facility with a focus on both bulk distribution and E-Commerce operations. The work schedule is from Saturday to Tuesday, noon to 10:30 PM. The environment is fast-paced, requiring a significant amount of walking and flexibility in tasks. Dress comfortably to accommodate movement throughout the warehouse.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Branford, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
