    Job Title: Wire Assembler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Cable Assembly Technician responsible for fabricating cable harnesses and cable assemblies from various schematics and wiring diagrams. This role involves working with parts used on agricultural equipment such as GPS, computers, and wiring harnesses, which may be greasy or dirty. Candidates must be comfortable with multitasking, especially during peak times from April to June.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform tasks such as wire making, soldering, crimping, connector termination, and assembly.

    + Utilize various hand and power tools for assembly.

    + Monitor inventory levels of wire, cable, components, and supplies, and communicate status with the team.

    + Assist with documentation and building work orders.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in wiring, mechanical assembly, and cable assembly.

    + Proficiency in electronics, electrical assembly, and blueprint interpretation.

    + Skilled in soldering, crimping, and use of hand tools.

    + Ability to read and work from schematics and control panels.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of various hand and power tools and ability to use them effectively.

    + Strong attention to detail and a service-oriented, positive attitude.

    + Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

    + Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

    + Ability to work well both individually and in a group.

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Experience with multi-meter and power supply is a plus.

    + Prior harness/cable fabrication experience is desirable.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a warehouse environment with a smaller team performing similar tasks. The role involves handling parts that may be greasy or dirty. You will be working alongside team members and directly with department managers. The position is for the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with no weekend work required.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
