Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform repair and preventative maintenance on manufacturing machines and facility maintenance repairs. You will troubleshoot and fix problems while working with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, motors, gears, valves, and pumps.

Responsibilities

+ Inspect and repair equipment, pumps, valves, pipes, heat exchangers, and mechanical-hydraulic systems to ensure efficient operation.

+ Conduct routine maintenance and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance equipment efficiency.

+ Document maintenance activities and adhere to safety protocols.

+ Conduct regular inspections, calibrations, and adjustments to ensure system compliance with industry standards.

+ Be on-call for emergency electrical repairs, responding promptly to minimize disruption.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during urgent situations.

+ Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in heat treatment systems.

+ Provide guidance and recommendations for system improvements.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine preventative maintenance.

+ Experience with lock out and tag out procedures.

+ Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems.

+ Skill in maintaining, lubricating, adjusting parts, and performing repairs.

+ Exposure to metal manufacturing and CNC systems.

+ Proficiency with common hand tools, gauges, dials, indicators, and digital equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Cajon, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $42.00/hr.
