Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals for positions in a general precast construction environment. This role involves working with concrete and assisting in various construction tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Place and finish concrete in forms.
+ Operate and maintain pouring tools such as screeds and hand tools.
+ Assist other crews when pouring work is complete.
+ Communicate effectively and work as part of a team with all Production Team members.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
+ Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and twist constantly.
+ Occasional crouching, crawling, and climbing.
+ Use of fine motor skills to control machinery and tools frequently.
+ Capability to concentrate, understand, and communicate in a noisy and active work environment.
+ Understanding and following instructions provided by the Foreman.
+ Ability to operate a forklift.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
+ Willingness to work in a team environment.
+ Ability to cross-train in different areas.
+ Experience in heavy manufacturing environments.
+ Some construction or concrete experience.

Work Environment
Work in a heavy manufacturing environment, focusing on pouring precast concrete panels. The environment is fairly clean and neat, though it may involve heavy lifting up to 60 pounds and repetitive tasks like raking or floating concrete panels. The building is not climate-controlled, being hot in summer and cool in winter. Work hours are on the 3rd shift, starting at midnight and ending between 9 or 10+ AM, depending on the workload.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EPHRATA, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
